Dominion awarded iGAS the full ‘turnkey’ project of upgrading their existing filling system at their plant in Aberdeen. iGAS are pleased to announce that the project has now entered the installation and construction phase and things are progressing well.
The project involves installing brand new filling points and new header pipework throughout the plant. This is being installed alongside the existing equipment, allowing Dominion to continue production with only minimal downtime required.
With this project iGAS are utilizing a new safety cage design that makes use of a new heat dispersing material which will keep the operators safe should an oxygen ignition occur. In addition, the cages are operated using a pneumatic control, allowing the operators to easily open and close the cages.
Expectations are that the project will be completed at the end of August.
